I grew up in Ukiah, California near the City of 10,000 Buddhas.
Although I began my entrepreneurial journey after graduating from college, I knew I was destined to become an entrepreneur since a young age. I was raised by a single mother and my grandmother. My mom was in the military so I was what you could call an “Army Brat”.
This experience gave me many very valuable lessons, and I had to learn how to recreate the world in my own image.
Me in the 1st Grade
I remember one time in the 1st grade I had “forgot” to do my math homework. My grandmother did not let me go to school, and instead forced me to finish my assignment before I could have the pleasure of going to school. I didn’t know it at the time, but she was secretly wiring me for success.
By having to force myself into figuring things out on my own, I was in essence forging my own path to having the things I want in life. I was the first in my family to go to college and am damn proud about it. I graduated from USC with an Industrial And Systems Engineering degree and ever since have started multiple businesses ranging from subscription boxes to digital publishing. I’ve gone through many failures and gained immense value from it.

This insistence on knowledge and becoming the ultimate version of myself lead me to becoming an entrepreneur in the first place. I created Entrepreneur Finesse as a resource because this information is just too good not to share with other entrepreneurs who may be struggling, and want to achieve their goals faster.
